I tend to get S.A.D. during the spring and summer. I feel better when fall comes around and I love the winter months. On the other hand, I reside at a place that has nice winters and not cold that much. Yesterday it was hot outside. It got up to the 90s and it felt like summer all over again. It made not feel so great.

I don't like the spring and summer much because of the heat and the noise I get from the neighbors at times. Also it pains me to see the neighbors having fun with get-togethers while I am alone. Another thing that I don't like about the spring and summer is that it reminds me of the bad times I had, including the medical diagnoses and problems. I had major surgery one year in April.

I guess I can understand the SAD during the fall and winter. I used to live in the northeastern part of the US. I used to get very depressed during the fall when I was living there. The winters were not bad for me. But I would feel a let down when it got very warm in the spring, even though the spring was a welcomed time at first after a cold winter.
