It's a temporary side effect, but very rare.
*Ocular
Frequency not reported: Blurred vision, transient scotomata/scotoma[Ref]
Blurred vision occurred at levels above 2 mEq/L.[Ref]
Scotomata/scotoma are blind spots in an otherwise normal field of vision.
