feeling any better hun? What helps you pull out of these slumps or do you hide away and wait like me?
I try not to make too much of the sadness when it hits but that just creates anxiety and then the tears happen whenever I open my mouth so I'm no further ahead. The only help is some time alone where I control all stimuli. Eliminate it with meditation or off load it with prayer. It keeps me disengaged a lot but it does seem to cycle the sadness out faster than any other approach I've yet to discover.
It still surprises me when the downer ends and the thoughts switch. When the cloud moves away or the pit disappears like a literal switch is being triggered to flip the picture right side up again.
