How many tears does one person have
How do they keep coming to my eyes
when I thought I'd cried
Al that I can cry.

How many years does hurt take to go
why does it go on hurting, even now
stabbing in my heart
churning like a plough......

How many people will stay being so kind
through all my days
when they tire of my moods
depression never pays.......

How many years can this go on
rollercoaster rides free!
A fairground though, I'd rather not be

Abuse ruins lives, years, families
brings on pain, fear, despair
how could anyone want to hurt a child
It's just not fair......
