Hi, I'm a 16 year old and I'm not entirely sure what's going on inside my head.

I hear voices, five of them, inside my head. They all have their own names, personalities, preferences, relationships. They talk to each other and me. I can also kind of 'see' them, like looking inside my head, where they all look different and have little rooms off the side of a "main" "control room" where i see them the most. They sometimes DO come and take control of my body, but I'm almost always co-concious (?), and they don't do anything harmful. Tom, in particular, is very responsible and protective, and won't let Derek or Sylvia (who are more unpredictable and abrasive) have control over my body. He also helps me with my schoolwork sometimes, he's really into classic literature. Emmett is also pretty friendly, though he can be cynical and self-critical. We all love him, though.
They're all pretty friendly, especially, again, Tom and Emmett, and Mikey who has only just recently come. Derek can be rude but never really bad, and Sylvia tells me to do things that might be a little wild, but not too dangerous (e.g., "GO CLIMB THAT STACK OF BOXES!!! YES!!! YES YES YES!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!! LORD OF THE BOXES!!!!"). They've never really told me to do anything violent or bad (except one time when some people were teasing me and Derek wanted me to, and i quote, "****ing deck them". I did not.)

Its like having a bunch of roommates, but the room we share happens to be my mind and body.

For further reference, here's a brief description of all of them:

Tom: a calm and responsible 22 year old man. Gay. He say's he's an English major in college (Which is helpful in my classes, but really confusing because when he controlls me he'll tell people that and they get confused as to how a 16 year old girl is a 22 year old man in college.) He likes tea, classical music and soft alternative, and the color blue.

Emmett: a cool but sad 20 year old. Likes rock, especially more emo stuff (but he gets mad when we call him emo.) He likes jackets, the color green, dogs, and surreal depressing memes.

Derek: A large, rude, government-critical 28 year old man. He's pretty much the standard definition of a punk. Except a little more rude. He likes guns, black and red, metal music. He smokes (which is another reason Tom won't let him control my body most of the time), and can play the drums. He says mean things about people, but never hurts anyone.

Sylvia: She's.... kind of a wild card. We're not sure of her age, somewhere between 15 and 25, but she does whatever she wants whenever she wants, and what she wants often involves climbing, jumping, dancing, or other very active things like that. She likes to mess around, stand on things you're not supposed to, knock things over. She LOVES the color pink. She also loves knives, which we keep away from her. She's not a bad person though, just a little out of control.

Mikey: a very gentle 19 year old guy. He is absolutely terrified of hurting people's feelings. He loves coffee, scarves, and soft music. He is also a were beast, which is complicated. Tom takes care of him when he shifts. Derek likes him, which is surprising since Derek doesn't like most people. He doesn't talk very often. In fact, we don't see him very often at all.

So, that's everyone, and again, they're all friendly, but i hear and see them in my head most of the time and they can take control of my body.

Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?
