I don't know that it's a "monster" but it's been raining here like it hasn't in years.
One thing to remember, if you happen to think of
me, I'm not in the burn area! Neither is my youngest son, this time. LOL
When I took Amber out for her walk last night, it was down to a small roar but the intersections inside the MHP were quite flooded. My power chair was able to navigate them. Wooooooooooohoooooooooooooo!!! I put my feet into the water and it was even greater then jumping into the puddles.
We lost power for a bit yesterday but we aren't part of the "millions" who still don't have their power back. Ours came back on within a couple of hours.
The only problem I foresee is getting to my youngest's place for the baby's second birthday party. The ground out here in CA is rather unstable and slips and slides with just the mention of rain.

Maybe the parents will think of moving the party to Chuck E. Cheese?
