Its hard to break into this field, as its very competitive. When I first got into doing phlebotomy for work, I wasn't getting hired because I had no experience. So I went to a staffing agency for medical peeps, and got hired based on my work as a temp. Its easy to get discouraged in this field because so many are in it. So if she's feeling discouraged, suggest a staffing agency. She'll get paid and get experience, and might just get hired if the companies she works for like her work.
