sounds like today is a hard one for all of us~! yesterday i rode the little bus for the first time since June (my cousin had been here for the summer), and today i am dosing myself strongly. aw well, i was clever enough to put a roast in the oven before i went shopping, so i had a good dinner with no fuss.

the little critters are putting on weight fast, and the tiniest ones have followed the fatter ones to my house. i'm feeding them a substantial part of my budget, but my heart breaks to know they will starve to death this winter. there are no berries and people are bear-crazy, locking up their trash.
