I used to get triggered by them all the time. I had the same gyn since I was 16... he just retired. So the next time I have to go in, it's going to be a new doc. This one is female, but for me, the main thing is I don't know her, and I'm gonna have to go thru the whole explaining dissociation again and getting used to a new doc again.

I think for me, knowing what is happening iss most important. Having a doc I'm not expecting all off a sudden would throw me off too. I also need at least a week to prepare for the appointment usually, so having things change is hard.
