I'm on both risperidone and seroquel. I was prescribed the risperidone first, years ago, to deal with dissociation and just as my pdoc put it "holding my brain together." I was on a very low dose. .5 mg a day and it really helped. I later discovered it was a good augmentation for my anti-d so increased the amount I'm on, and am now taking 5 mg a day. No weight gain.

The seroquel was prescribed for anxiety, and is also very sedating, so if you're looking for something at night to help you sleep that might be a better option. It's been weight neutral for me, but only because I'm really strict about what I eat - it definitely caused increased sugar cravings for me.
