Currently I now see a PCP ( primary care physician) for my psych needs so no emergency meds as he wouldn't know what to do. The plan is for me to self monitor then call him and he will call the pdoc for this area and try to get me an emergency appointment or at least set up a chat though the computer. Failing that I go to ER. It's not the best of plans but here where I live now there's not much better at this time. They have been trying to hire a second pdoc for the three counties for almost two years now and no takers.
