I feel kind of selfish saying this but listening to your ongoing horror story with appalling care makes me want get down on my knees and thank the cosmos that I live in the U.S. and can afford good insurance.

I have a friend in Norway who was bedridden with a back injury. He had to wait 2 YEARS before they considered his injury "bad enough" to deserve surgery.
