yes I have heard this song , its a very popular song about the stigma of being a lesbian. I totally enjoyed her live on iRadio interview. she talked about this song and how it came about ... her feeling like she could not be herself with her sexuality (being a lesbian), and though her intention was to have the song about being a lesbian and the stigma that applies to it, the words do resonate with other situations too. Besides being a lesbian, my being native american I cant help but also being drawn to the song and enjoy it because of its drum rhythm.
