That's simply unreasonable if not outlandish. I'd just tell this friend that you have no way to get there, and so unless she can pick you up (and you'd be happy to chip in some gas $$) then you can't go with her. And that you're sorry cause you love spending time with her, but it's just not feasible since it's so far away.
If she's a real friend then she will understand.
