Brutal honesty, he should be thanking his stars that you are there for him, bipolar or not, so that he can stay in his home and not have to go to a nursing facility.

But realistically, maybe a nursing facility is the best place for him so you aren't devoting your whole life to bathing him, feeding him, and spending every waking second caring for him? I know we want to devote ourselves to our loved ones, but it's not always the healthiest thing for us, especially when you're struggling with bipolar yourself.

He is very blessed to have you, at any rate.
