I guess because I have to be and also because HR will no longer allow the abuse. HR watches over ALL our communications and is involved in every communication so my boss has to remain professional with me at all times (mwahhhahahaha!). Hehe. So because I am no longer abused, I can still work with her and everything is pretty much OK now (except for the fact that she still sucks as a boss and a manager).
It is absolutely terrible what you've been through. I can empathize, having been there myself many times. ((((((((Hugs))))))))) It is entirely unacceptable and deplorable treatment.
Are you being treated for the PTSD , etc and are you given methods for coping with it when triggered? That is the key -- is learning coping skills when triggered. I use deep breathing and guided meditation exercises when my PTSD gets triggered, for example, and it helps tremendously. Or, sometimes, I just divert my attention to something else to focus on that will help snap me out of it. Diverting your attention to something else is a good way as well. People can really suck sometimes.... GRRRRRR. :/
