Things that help me ground:
-certain songs that I like to sing along with
-ice cubes on my forearm
-strong tasting candy or gum; mint or sour or dark chocolate
-focusing on noticing details about my location (smells, sights, sounds)
-counting the number of things in a room that are the same color
-breathe in for count of 4, hold for count of 4, breathe out for count of 4, hold for count of 4
-petting cat or dog
