I took Effexor 200mg for over 4 years...and loved it. Very effective for depression and anxiety with no side effects except a bit of nausea the first few days after I started it.
When I had to stop it eventually my pdoc gave me a tapering schedule to follow over a couple of weeks and I had no discontinuation symptoms.
