I loved memorizing that speech (it's nice and dramatic :-) and was crushed when I learned most of the exiting parts weren't real.

I was born in Virginia and my passport is incorrect because both my parents were born in Tacoma, Washington and Richmond decided the State of Washington meant "District of Columbia"! I've had to wrestle with myself as to whether to get it corrected or not; I don't have any children of my own so maybe I'll just leave the "puzzle" of where my parents were born to future genealogists LOL
