When I was in meeting I don't like having all these people's eyes on me so I sometimes take a rest and I shifted my gaze away from the throng for a little too long. But all the boss had to say was please pay attention. But I WAS listening closely but instead he had to insinuate that I had been bullied at school in front of all my work mates and this wasn't the case. So I got really self conscious. I more than a likely was hungover too and the flip chart was right in front of the window on a sunny day so my eyes needed a break!! I always look away when I need to listen close and people mistake it for ignorance. I am simply shy. I come out of my shell quicker than I used.
