Would you trust a therapist who has had a significant lawsuit filed against them in the past, if the lawsuit didn't have anything to do with one of their clients?

So.... I staterted seeing another therapist in addition to my current therapist that I've been seeing for a few years. Because of the excruciating attachment work, I just felt like I needed extra support and she was okay with seeing me at a reduced rate. I just looked her up online and saw that she had a lawsuit filed against her and was sued a few years ago. Her and I have done some pretty good work, but this is really distracting and disturbing for me. Do I trust her? Would you trust a therapist who has broken the law?
