Hi Kayleigh. I have a couple of questions for you. If you're not going to school, what would you be doing? What kind of a job would you like to have? Maybe answering those questions would help you decide what major to go into.
If you're having trouble affording tuition, how about working part-time?
As for not being smart enough - NO WAY! How do you know you're not smart enough? Maybe it's the way you're studying, the lack of motivation, something... but not smart - NO WAY! (again). So you know, I didn't even finish high school because my student counsellor told me I was 'hopeless' (her word) and refused to enroll me into one more course to graduate. However, somehow I managed to get a degree (specialized honours) which was not easy, and my main motivation was that I had to prove to that counsellor and my family that I was NOT HOPELESS. Oh yeah, I paid my way through school by working. It's strange how parents want their kids to get a degree and yet, don't help pay for it....
Kayleigh, you CAN do it.
Now, if you really don't want to go to college, then it's your choice. For me, I want to have something to fall back on.
