I have experienced with my bipolar feeling the center of the universe to feeling like a piece of poop floating in a toilet. Sometimes it's a rapid flip but since I've been on mood stabilizers I've been able to take notice of triggers before I respond them. They lower my metabolism so I gain undesirable weight.

In short, no your not alone.

If I may share a goal of mine, it is to turn all my triggers into toggles meaning each mood I my feel can be turned off and on just by being aware of what causes me to flip.

Now-a-days I don't let outside events trigger my inner most emotions. I have developed a logical filter to only be affected by those who care about my well being.
