oh ok. my boyfriend hates the death penalty also. he says "yeah.. the death penalty is a hell of a deterant.... for the person youre killing. they wont ever commit that crime ever again." wouldnt keeping them in jail for life do the same thing?

he also said that people who do things like that to little kids or even grown adults, they are beaten just about everyday. so chances are if they got life in jail they probably wouldnt even live that long because even murderers find sexual abusers sickening. plus i think once youre in that position you lose the will to live anyways.

maybe ive been reading too many self help books lol
