CyranO is right, ppl like us shouldn't watch scary movies.

But it can be very hard to know which movies will trigger you.
We haven't been triggered by a movie since "Rider on the Rain" & before that "The Virgin Spring".

It sounds to us like you have substituted the fear of ghosts to replace a traumatic memory.
Comedys are far safer to watch, but some of them can be triggering too.
