Jan, So sorry Belle has been suffering.
With my large dogs, I used to heavily coat the pill with butter/margarine. I would then quickly enter their mouths, from the side back of mouth, depositing the pill at the entry of the esophagus. Just tucking it in gently. I don't know if this will work for Belle or not. Please take good care of one another. Thinking of you!
