Part of getting over a tragedy is moving on rather than dwelling on it and stepping around egg shells, winter loneliness. Anyone who would see celebrating an innocent holiday to the fullest extent as being even slightly callous or insensitive have deeper underlying issues which my Halloween decorations aren't responsible for.
I do not think you are being callous. I am just trying to point out that others may think you are. There are trigger warnings on everything, now days. I am just pointing out what some may be thinking.
