You know I started on Risperdal which worked but had side effects so I just cross tapered, my symptoms were already under control but they stayed under and I just felt much better on abilify----its kinda a high energy med in the beginning. But for risperidone I was noticing effects within days and had lost all symptoms in months. Abilify should be the same because its actually a partial agonist at D2----I believe the strongest D2 binder but that's because it partially activates.
