We do make real friendships here, in fact I married someone here from Psych Central! We make real connections here so it is upsetting to see the I want leave posts, delete me. People just need to contact admin if they want to be deleted, PM friends to let them know. No public post is required.

Pegasus, if you read my entire post and the posts before it you would have seen that that is exactly what I'm saying. "I'm leaving" or "delete my account" posts disrupt the entire community, and that's why they're not allowed. You misread my post. I wasn't arguing against the rule but for it.
