I think the only way, is to gradually let people over for a short while. Wouldn't it be great for your child to have a friend round for a bit. While her friend is round, you can distract yourself, make it comfortable for your child's friend, be a good host, imagine it's like a job you have to do. Your child will be so happy you did and then you can take it from there. Otherwise I would suggest psychotherapy for this issue to get to the bottom of the reasons why and learn ways to cope with it.
