I tried cutting back years ago and stopped drinking sodas (many studies have proven soda is bad for you) but decided to enjoy my addiction to coffee and tea. They can be beneficial--you just have to monitor their effects and act accordingly (stop when you start feeling jittery etc). Here is one of so many articles that talk about the benefits:
