My wife is with one of my sons at the crisis assessment center. He is the one unfortunate enough to be my near clone. He has been very depressed the last few days and talked to my wife earlier and she decided it was bad enough to head in. She did not give me the details but I think it is SI. He is being evaluated but she was already told it is likely they will admit.

So while this is going on, I am feeling slightly or maybe a little more than slightly hypomanic. I feel guilty because it is my usual happy puppy hypomania. I am wringing my hands waiting on the next message but I am grinning. I can't tell my wife because she has enough on her plate. I just hope it doesn't go further than being clever and goofy. It started before he went in so it wasn't triggered.

The place he went is a center I took my daughter to once when she had "vague SI" if you get my meaning. They assessed and then met with me about a safety plan and then met with both of us together before making the call that we could go. So I had a good experience there before and I am hopeful that they will do what's best this time also.
