Well good luck!!! My first hearing I won was just for a closed period of disability. The attorney tried to get me to talk and I lost my **** and just wailed like a hurt child. I just couldn’t talk about it. Especially when you’re sitting there... literally, being judged. So if you can get all those words out then good! Stay strong! I’m hoping with my next hearing that my lawyer will be able to guide me a bit on what I should say and what I should save for a rainy day. I hope I don’t break down like last time.

They say that the judge likes to see proof that you are getting help and doing better. They don’t want to give money so someone who isn’t going to take their own MI seriously. So yea I have to try and hold it together but when I bring up certain things, my PTSD kicks me down and the panic attack comes. Blah. Just need to get this over with!
