how tall are you/what do you weigh right now? that will give us an idea of whether it is safe for you to lose weight. Because with ED's our bodies are distorted, and you might see yourself as fatter. If it is safe for you to lose a few of the holiday pounds, i see no problem with slimfast because it is a diet plan, and at least you don't plan on starving yourself. I don't agree with your husband that your doing it the lazy way. Yes, being active helps losing weight along, but it is not the only thing that needs to be looked at when trying to lose weight. Plus, i thought he said he doesn't want you to lose weight, why does he want you to get active to do it then????? Talk to your therapist about this. if you are on the verge of hospitilization right now then its not a good idea. If your therapist says its ok if you want to lose a few pounds, as long as you do it SAFELY, then there is no problem with slim fast and feeling better. But please dive into this more with your therapist about WHY you think being thinner=happier. take care.
