I agree w/ rhapsody that stress can cause physical pain. I usually am a laid back person or so I thought it turns out I buried my feelings/stresses and they manifested themselves through my body i.e. lots of back,neck,and jaw pain along w/ bowel issues and a constant upset and cramped tummy. Good Luck finding the cause of you pain. I think if you tried pilates or meditation you might be pleasantly surprised.
