I posted earlier about losing my job...so this may be familiar.

The store, Krogers, I work for is closing down due to leasing contracts and apparently not enough business. The community is saddened by the closing and a lot of employees are being shoved around attempting to keep their jobs. This has been on my mind constantly, especially since I'm helping closing the store and moving/removing product on the shelve and having to explain to our loyal and regular customers why and when the store will leave the community. Sooo many people are disappointed about this.

If I had higher seniority and the strength to organize a petition I would fight the closing. I think the community would react positively to this...they would sign and help fight to keep this Krogers. I just wouldn't know where to begin and of course I'd fear the negative response that would eventually follow. Where would a person even begin to do something so grand?
