Hi, Jen...

I had a crash this fall. While in the ER, they offered me the choice of an inpatient stay or a month-long outpatient program. The program was based on DBT (dialectic behavior therapy). This involved teaching techniques to apply when you are feeling "negative" emotions to help control your mood, including anger, depression and mania, among others. I have found it quite helpful in keeping myself going. I still have the negative feelings, but I can have them now without acting on them and more importantly, not judging myself because of them but rather letting them pass.

I don't knopw what options you may have for this sort of therapy, I just offer it up as something that has helped me.

I hope that you feel better soon!
