Ug, work events can be a necessary evil. I think if you could suffer through just a couple of those events, it would give you something to point to and say "I did go to the Christmas party" or whatever...I hate those work-community events too. I spend like most of my life with co-workers, I don't want to spend my free time with them as well. Ug. Why can't people understand that?
