I agree, it sounds like they have the issues not you. I'd say just try to be polite and focus on doing your job well.

For my current job I had to work in the office for 3 months to train and I found it very cliqueish. I mean, the people in the press section really seemed to think they were superior and barely would say hi to those of us who are researchers, even though we're all part of the content department. I'd never really seen that before and didn't ever get used to it. At least I work from home now, so I don't have to deal with that these days.
