Good point. I can't claim I know with certainty how mentally healthy people feel like.
I'm just basing that assumption on the ups and downs I have. I tend to be very forgetful when it comes to my emotions – I can't imagine how it feels to be "calm" when I'm anxious or depressed. The whole world seems to be black and white and there's no way out.
But when I'm feeling a bit better at times (when I've been out with friends or spent time with my family) it feels as if I wasn't able to see all of the picture back when I had been depressed – as if I haven't been able to think clearly and was "locked in" in my negative emotions.
But yeah, when I see "mentally healthy people see the world like this", I guess you should take that with a grain of salt. It's mainly based on my experiences how my states of mind differ at times.
