I've noticed thru the yrs that especially women make negative comments....on things they'd like to have!! So it might make them feel better to belittle you bec you have something desirable.
Weird theory but I think it holds water.

Sometimes when this happens to me, a negative comment, I start to grin bec they may be actually jealous. That's infuriating to them.

Last wk I wore an outfit that was very "bohemian". My sibling laughed at it! So I told her not everyone can pull this look off so easily!
