That's horrible. At least, you dodge the bullet. If they can be abusive in email session, they can be more abusive in interview and work environment.

I had abusive interview once. My case is different from yours, but it's far from my home too. The employer treated and abused her workers badly RIGHT in front of me. I blew my interview intentionally.
