I have one down in the garage. I used to use it with my computer set up in front of it to watch vids while on it, but I have fallen away from using it. Part of it could be that with the good weather I simply switched over to my real bike. We'll see if I go back to the stationary now that it's rainy and cold again.

In short, I would talk with her about the idea to see if she's interested before making a purchase like that. You don't have to tell her you're thinking to buy her one.
