I checked a few months ago and it had thousands on one, in towns I hadn't been in... of course the credit card company was notified and began a fraud investigation, and credited me the amounts...

Immediately contact them (well, even if it's been a month or two) and talk to them. If it's something I might have charged but can't recall, they can send me a copy of the receipt, with signature etc, tell me what it was for...all that.

Often it's someone accidently typing the wrong account number (mine instead of the purchaser.)
