Hi guys/girls, I am needing advice on how I can get my 7yr old daughter suitably dressed or bundled up for outdoor winter walks to and home from school.

She will wear boots, hat, gloves and a scarf and her coat but will not do up the zip or wear trousers, she would prefer to wear her skirts.

I have tried getting her to wear rousers so her legs are covered up but she just sulkss at me .

Same with the zipping her coat, there are many times that I have just ended up zipping it for her but she just unzips it then complains of being frozen.

The reason I want this solved is because we have bitterly cold winters here in Scotland, it can even reach minus degrees sometimes.
