Damn--I am so sorry this happened. I read your first post and was going to say that usually-----
with a benzo detox they do a Phenobarbital come down for 10 days, but it is a living HELL---I know because I did it------------------ twice.
After I read your second post, I think it sounds like your friend's doc is a real piece of work. He/she "should" know better that you NEVER go cold turkey off benzos--yes you could die of a seizure. I'm wondering if your friend's "detox" caused all of this--I hallucinated for the first time coming of a benzo and Vicodin and Norco-had out of body experiences too---SUCKS! My detox was long ----that's all I have to say---sensitive subject for me
