It was over five years ago, my p-doc praised me - after hearing about my MI struggles over the years and how I have never been hospitalized, she told me that most people in my shoes/situation would've given up!
I have never forgot that - it was like the only time I ever felt someone truly understood what it takes for me to hold myself together! Most people just see all the things I'm NOT doing - but she saw me and the inner strength I have and it takes to do what I've been doing!
