so a little back-story info here: my three year old niece (just turned three earlier this month) is battling a rare form of eye-cancer. a journal-like website page as been set up for her.

does it make me a bad person if I don't check it and follow along / read all the posts??

if I'm being honest here, then I gotta say I can barely handle my own illness (two MIs)! how can I handle someone else's on top of that?! even if it is a family member.

I was told when my niece was in the hospital for almost a week cuz her numbers were low. but all the other stuff, I'm not told (that's kinda how my family is). so should I let them make me feel bad about not knowing things?? and how do I respond when they say 'well don't you check the webpage'?

p.s. I'm a STRONG introvert and my niece's mother is the complete opposite, if that helps any...
