I don't know if my t's taking time off for either of the upcoming holidays. I didn't think to ask this year, since I'm taking a break from therapy right now and I plan on it lasting at least through the end of the year. In the past, it hasn't been an issue, because she's always been very flexible about scheduling around her taking time off like when I was still going weekly, if she was leaving for vacation on a monday afternoon or something she'd get me in on monday morning. stuff like that. or we'd do 2 sessions the week before. And even when she was moving back here - we missed a phone session because she was traveling but she let me come in right after she got here and before her furniture arrived, and we just sat on lawn chairs in her empty office. Her willingness to be flexible about stuff like that is one of the reasons I'm still a client after 6 years....
