Having moved 2100 miles away from where I lived for 54 years of my life when I left my H, brought me to a little town where I knew no one & no one knew me.

It has been interesting with the timing of letting out pieces of my background & some of the experiences I have gone through. I had decided not to say anything unless it was in the context of a conversation or they asked. I have no desire to keep things secret but also if it doesnt come up in the cintext of a conversation have felt its not necessarily information that is necessary to share.

I understand how you felt & felt the need to share. I learned that getting to know the people & them getting to really know me was best before sharing some of that information.

Some of the truth about what I went through I didnt even discover until about 5+years after I left & had outstanding therapy.

Being careful about what yiu share & who you share it with is wise
